Through its patented cooling technology developed by scientists at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, CoolSculpting undeniably reduces fat in the treated areas. Unlike surgery and other non-invasive methods of fat reduction, CoolSculpting is the only procedure that uses cooling technology – not laser-assisted or ultrasound methods. It is simple and the results are gradual and occur over the course of 3 to 8 weeks.

The Minimally Invasive Contouring System

The system uses a combination of mini-liposuction together with a Thermacontrolled radio frequency needle which is placed into the fat and below the dermis. This creates tightening of the neck and jowl and other areas of the body where there is loose skin. This obviates the need for large energy devices such as Thermage and various Laser devices which are expensive and need repetitive treatments. The procedure is done in the office under local anesthesia in less than an hour with minimal if any downtime.
