About RADIESSE® Dermal Filler
Radiesse® is a calcium hydroxylapatite designed with durability, longevity, and versatility in mind. It is made of a unique bio-compatible formula containing calcium-based microspheres that, once injected, can help improve the growth of collagen, leading to increased volume and fullness in the treated areas. We use Radiesse® dermal filler at our Boston practice because it is effective in treating a variety of conditions such as smile and frown lines, sunken cheeks and jowls, as well having a significant effect in the re-contouring of the face. Results can last up to one year and as long as 18 months.
Boston Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Leonard Miller recommends Radiesse® to patients who have lost volume in their face, or who wish to smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Commonly treated areas include hollowed cheeks, smile lines, and marionette lines. Radiesse® differs from many other dermal fillers because of its collagen-stimulating properties in the skin, which ultimately leads to a more effective end result.
The RADIESSE® Dermal Filler Procedure
Treatments are usually completed in less than an hour. Topical and/or injectable numbing options are available to patients upon request.
There is no recovery time with Radiesse® dermal filler injections. Many of our Boston patients have the treatment performed during their lunch hour. As with any injection to the lip area, you may experience swelling.
Patients who have had Radiesse® dermal filler administered by Dr. Leonard Miller are very happy with the results and many return to the Boston Center for Facial Rejuvenation for other services like Botox®, medical facials, and advanced laser treatments.
How much does RADIESSE® dermal filler cost?
The cost associated with Radiesse® dermal filler depends on the number of treatment areas and how much filler is used on a patient.
