As we age, the underlying tissues that keep our skin looking youthful and plumped up begin to break down, leaving laugh lines, smile lines, crow’s feet and facial creases. To help restore a smoother, more youthful appearance, many of Dr. Miller’s patients utilize soft-tissue fillers such as Restylane®, Radiesse® and Sculptra®, as well as fat injections and Botox® injections.

Sculptra® is used to treat facial lipoatrophy which is the loss of fat beneath the skin, which can result in sunken cheeks, indentations, and hollow eyes. Sculptra® is a safe, synthetic, and biocompatible material that is injected below the surface of the skin in the area of fat loss. It provides a gradual and significant increase in skin thickness, improving the appearance of folds and sunken areas. The photos below show the effects after just three treatments.
