Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are designed to improve the color and texture of facial skin by gently removing the surface layer of dead skin cells. These minimally-invasive skin care treatments can also help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, sun spots, age spots, and a number of other perceived blemishes on many different skin types.

Dr. Leonard Miller, our board-certified plastic surgeon, and our experienced staff offer multiple chemical peel options that vary in strength and depths of surface penetration. During the consultation, the most effective peel based on your individual needs will be selected in order to help you achieve a refreshed and healthy complexion for your skin.

Environ TCA Peel

TCA (trichloroacetic acid) peels consist of a non-toxic chemical designed to address the top few layers of facial skin. This popular peel can be an excellent option for rejuvenating irregular pigmentation and sun damage on the face, as well as helping diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The TCA peel treatment typically takes about 45 minutes to complete, and two to five days are generally needed for skin to fully heal.

Vi-Peels are composed of a unique blend of vitamins and chemicals designed to improve the texture and complexion of facial skin with strong, predictable results. This peel can help reduce wrinkles and fine lines, diminish acne and acne scarring, and even stimulate collagen production, which can help to improve skin elasticity over time. The Vi-Peel treatment generally takes about 30 minutes to complete, and patients can typically expect skin to be fully healed and rejuvenated about one week following the procedure.
